Visiting Pet Vet is a full-service mobile hospital that can come to you. We do not provide emergency mobile service. Wait time for mobile visits average 5-6 weeks. Currently, Dr. Bain is the only traveling Veterinarian on staff.
What to Expect for A Home Visit:
We run on doctor time! We try our hardest to make your scheduled appointment time, but emergencies happen that may change our departure time. We will call/text you with an estimated time of arrival. When we arrive at your home please wait inside. Dr Bain will come to the door, introduce himself and assess your pets needs for the visit. Please have your pet (especially scared cats) contained to a small space prior to our arrival. We will examine and treat your pet on our truck or in your home depending on your pet’s needs. We offer a full pharmacy, so now is the time to stock up on any medications or preventatives your pet may need!
Payment is required at the end of your visit, we accept cash, checks, most major credit cards, and CareCredit. Please ask for an estimate prior to your pets’ treatment so you can be financially prepared to pay in full at time of treatment.
